Rastreamos algunos de los antecedentes del rock’n’roll previos al bautismo de este como género musical. Y arrancamos en 1934, cuando las hermanas Boswell armonizaron sus voces para grabar una inocente canción que hacía referencia al movimiento de un barco sobre la solas del mar. Ya desde el siglo XIX los marineros se referían a ese balanceo de los barcos como… rock and roll.
