Today's program features: music for the guitar by Francisco Tárrega, who lived from 1852 to 1909 and whose compositions, performances and teaching prepared the way for the rebirth of the guitar in the 20th century; and music for the piano by Isaac Albéniz (1860-1909), specifically, three movements from his evocative "Suite Iberia."
