Today's program features news on, among other things, Spain's pandemic-stricken economy and government measures to aid vulnerable sectors of society, contacts between the Spanish government and the new United States administration in Washington, and the 40th anniversary of the attempted coup against the Spanish government of February 23rd, 1981. The program ends with the music of Renaissance composer Carlo Gesualdo, whose madrigals were performed this past week in Madrid by the French vocal group, Les Arts Florissants.
