The Grand Chamber of the European Human Rights Court has decided that Spain's practice of summary deportations or push-backs at the Ceuta and Melilla borders with Morocco do not contravene Europe's Convention on Human Rights. That decision is seen by rights groups of all kinds, including Save the Children, to endanger the human rights of the most vulnerable, asylum seekers. The program continues with briefs on war zones in Syria, Yemen and Afghanistan, from which thousands of desperate refugees have fleed over the past few years. We end with a report on Antarctica.
