Una tarde con The Shirelles (I)

Programa especial dedicado a una de los grupos vocales de chicas más emblemáticos, exitosos e influyentes de todos los tiempos; una banda pionera en el movimiento de las girl roups que triunfaron a comienzos de los años 60 y también una de las más duraderas. Shirley Owens, Beverly Lee, Addie “Micki” Harris y Doris Coley tenían entre 15 y 17 años cuando se presentaron a un concurso de talentos de su instituto en Nueva Jersey. Aquella canción les consiguió su primer contrato discográfico en 1958. En este episodio repasamos su trayectoria hasta 1962, año en que se encontraban en la cima de su carrera.
