Nuevo disco en solitario de Jason Ringenberg, eterno líder de los nunca suficientemente reivindicados Jason and the Scorchers, aquella banda que emergió desde Nashville a comienzos de los años 80 para convertirse en abanderado del movimiento cowpunk. Su Nuevo y brillante trabajo, “Rhinestoned”, será editado en España por Folc Records. Celebramos también la noticia de una nueva entrega de esa leyenda de la música californiana llamada Los Lobos, así como la inminente gira de The Jayhawks o la reaparición del sueco David Myhr con luminosas canciones de power pop. En el tramo final nos detenemos en el álbum de debut del dúo británico Edwards Hand. Editado en 1969 y reeditado ahora por You Are The Cosmos, este disco homónimo fue producido por George Martin y contiene preciosas canciones de folk, psicodelia y pop barroco.
