Extremadura in alert due to high temperatures between 37º and 40º

The Aemet has declared an orange warning for the valleys of Tagus, Alagón and Las Vegas del Guadiana, and a yellow warning for the rest of the region this Monday, although the situation is likely to extend throughout the entire week.


The whole of Extremadura is on alert due to high temperatures. The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) declared an orange warning in the Tagus and Alagón valleys of Cáceres, and in the Vegas del Guadiana valley of Badajoz, due to high temperatures that may reach over of 40 degrees, while the rest of the region  sees a yellow warning, reaching over 38 degrees.

The lows won't drop below 20 degrees.
