The program’s objective is one of pure entertainment via an amusing and warm show for the entire family.
Eight popular celebrities, completely unconnected with the world of dance, accept the challenge to undergo a thorough training in order to show themselves off in front of the public by dancing in successive weekly galas. Everyone’s goal is to defeat their opponents and raise funds for NGOs or other charitable causes that they sponsor.
“Our celebrities” have to train individually and demonstrate each week what they are able to do on the dance floor, which is a complete challenge for them as they had never before planned to dance in front of an audience.
“Look who’s dancing!” puts at the contestants’ disposal the best choreographers, the best stylists, and well-known high-level dance couples in charge of teaching them the different types of ballroom dancing.The jury is also made up of popular celebrities from different specialities in the world of show business, who, in addition to offering commentaries full of irony and good humour, determine what couples the contestants will form and the type of dance that they will perform on the following show. The decision about each week’s winners is reached via the participation of the home audience who, via telephone calls and SMS, vote for their favourite.
