Brief synopsis
Don Quixote and Sancho’s amusing
adventures told by the writer who brought them to life. A series,
or special drama, loaded with action, humour, and entertainment.
An old solider named Miguel de Cervantes tells us the adventures
of the knight Don Quixote and his squire Sancho, famous for their
feats. Their story begins when Don Alonso Quijano, the knight Don
Quixote de La Mancha, decides to put on his armour and depart in
search of “El Turco” or The Turk, who has invaded the
coast.
Sancho Panza, Don Alonso’s neighbour, fascinated by the nobleman’s
imaginary words and combats, decides to accompany him on his adventures
as his squire, hoping to obtain the compensation promised by his
lord – to become the governor of a large island.
Throughout his journey, Don Quixote faces new and amusing situations
caused by his madness and wild imagination.
Based on the original novel by Cervantes, Gutierrez Aragon has produced
a “free version” of the amusing adventures of Don Quixote,
with an exceptional cast that brings to life each of the tale’s
unique characters. |
