Desde entonces hasta hoy nunca se ha apagado la llama del soul elegante, comprometido y conmovedor acuñado por las grabaciones de Mayfield, un género que sigue vivo en la voz de artistas contemporáneos como Curtis Harding. Hoy establecemos esa línea imaginaria buceando en (una parte de) el legado de Mayfield y en las producciones barrocas y también fascinantes de Harding.
