Today's program focuses on the military operation in Mosul, Iraq's second largest city, which ISIS seized two years ago and from which it declared its "caliphate" in Iraq and Syria.  Now, Iraqi government forces along with local Kurdish peshmerga and others, with US air-support, seek to reconquer the city. A humanitarian crisis for the city residents is foreseen, with hundreds of thousands possibly losing their homes and fleeing.  Among those displaced may also be ISIS militants, who may have been granted safe passage to Syria.
