Guitarists and composers.  As the Spanish classical guitar developed into a solo concert instrument, performers needed material.  There is a solid tradition of musicians commissioning workers for their instruments and guitarists are no exception.  Today's program includes pieces by Tárrega, Turina, Llobet, Rosa Garcia Ascot, and Ricardo Llorca, performed by Andrés Segovia, Julian Bream, and Adam Levin.
