The Catalan regional president rearranges his cabinet ahead of preparations for the unilaterally declared referendum on independence, announced for October 1st. The Spanish government has said it will do whatever is necessary to stop the illegal referendum from being held; any elected official who takes part in the organization of the referendum will be taken to court.
