NBSW - Consent

Playwright Nina Raine discusses Consent, her latest drama now opening at Spain’s National Theatre - the Centro Dramático Nacional in Madrid. The play explores the question of rape and the legal treatment of sexual violence and was first performed at the UK’s National Theatre in London. It’s staging in Madrid coincides with International Women’s Day and has clear echoes with elements reflected in the #MeToo movement.
