We welcome to our studio Javier Vargas, founder and leader of the Vargas Blues Band. Javier talks to Justin Coe about growing up playing in garage bands in Argentina and his time spent living and playing music in Nashville and Los Angeles. He also tells us a few of his "stories from the road" about meeting and playing live and in the studio with internationally known musicians and groups such as Canned Heat, Alvin Lee and Carlos Santana. Javier Vargas has released some two dozen albums under his own name or his band's, and we hear music from his penultimate CD, "From the Dark," as well as from his latest album, "Hard Time Blues."
