Frank Smith pays a visit to the offices of the European Commission's Representation in Spain, where he talks to the European Commissioner for Employment, Laszlo Andor of Hungary, who was in Madrid to announce details of Brussels' new initiative for youth employment package. Mr. Andor arrived in the Spanish capital on the same day that the Spanish government announced a record number of registered unemployed in the Spain, where almost five million people are now looking for a job--that's over one in four of the workforce, but amongst young people the unemployment rate is well over 50 per cent (07/12/12).
