Dixie Town are a power trio from Vigo in Spain's northwestern region of Galicia, and they recently released their fourth album. The album's title, "O Furacán," means "the hurricane" in Galician, and that's just what Pepe Ferrández, Óscar Fontán and Lucas Ferrández serve up: potent blues-rock inspired in music by the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Winter, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Z.Z. Top. Several countrified tracks, one of which features the pedal steel of Hendrik Röver of Los Deltonos fame, provide a bit of shelter from the blues-rock storm...
