Big Mama Montse

Justin Coe welcomes back to our studios Catalan blueswoman Big Mama Montse, who arrives with a brand new album under her arm. Entitled "Seed of Love," the new CD includes seven original tunes by Montserrat Pratdesaba and four covers, all performed by the Big Mama Montse .Band: Big Mama, vocals & guitars; Tòfol Martínez, guitars, dobro, background vocals, claps; Isaac Coll, bass, background vocals, claps; and Andreu Moreno, drums, percussion, background vocals, claps. Big Mama comments on her sources of inspiration and choice of covers and we listen to (at least some of) all eleven tracks from this excellent album released earlier this year on the Basque label Gaztelupeko Hotsak ( www.hotsak.com ).
