Justin Coe, Frank Smith and Max Long talk to British journalist and author Tony Norman, who has just published a new book about the 1960s and the vibrant music scene in London entitled My Cool Sixties: Lennon, Jagger & The Rest. Before going on to meet and interview many of the biggest pop and rock music stars of the day, Tony Norman himself played bass in the Mod band The Rest, whose other members were Graham Lynch, Colin Green, and Shay McKeown, and the new book includes an EP of four songs, one of which--a song called "Ready Steady Go!" written by Norman in 1966--we listen to during the interview.
