English language broadcast - 26/04/13

After the newscast comes "Other Voices," in which we report on a presentation by the Robert F. Kennedy Center in Madrid, at which Kerry Kennedy and Spanish actor Javier Bardem talked about human rights violations in Western Sahara. Then comes a report on the most prestigious award in Spanish letters, the Cervantes Prize, awarded this past Tuesday to Spanish writer Juan Manuel Caballero Bonald. The broadcast ends with music from the 2010 album "Shouka" by Western Saharan singer Mariem Hassan. "Shouka" was recorded in Madrid and released on the Nubenegra label.
