English language broadcast - 20/03/15

 This is the first of two programs dedicated to the Museum of Jewish History in the Catalan city of Girona.  The "Call" or Jewish quarter of this charming city has been exquisitely preserved, the pavement, narrow stairways and stone buildings drawing the visitor into Medieval times.  But it is the Museum itself which seeks to tell the history.  Assumpció Hosta, the Director of the Patronat del Call de Girona, spoke to me about the restoration of the Jewish quarter, the archeological projects sponsored by the Patronat and showed me a sampling of the displays the Museum has to offer.  You can find out much more at the website: http://www.girona.cat/call/eng/index.php
