After the newscast comes a look at weekend sports results, then a review of the Spanish press, and then this week's edition of "North By Southwest," in which Nicolas Jackson goes to the theatre, to Madrid's international performing arts Autumn Festival in Spring, where he discusses new work by internationally renowned companies DV8 and Complicite, Manchester-based Quarantine and director Peter Brook. The broadcast ends on a poinant note from Sunday's Bruce Springsteen concert in Madrid, at which Springsteen paid tribute to his friend and musical fellow-traveller Clarence Clemons, who died a year ago today, and also to a young Spanish fan, who succumbed to cancer ten days before the concert he could not attend.
