After the newscast we report on the centuries-old but increasingly controversial "Toro de la Vega" bull hunt in the central Spanish city of Tordesillas, where police have had to intervene amid protests by hundreds of animal rights activists.  Then we hear wonderful Spanish music, first from the lesser-known 19th-century Madrid composer and musician Matías de Jorge Rubio, and then by the first great Spanish composer, Cristóbal de Morales, thought to have been born in Seville in 1500 and known to have died in 1553, probably in Marchena, near Seville.  Cristóbal de Morales lived and worked in Italy for nearly 20 years, ten of which--from 1535 to 1545--were spent at the Papal chapel in Rome.
