English language broadcast - 16/07/14

 After the newscast comes "Listeners Club," in which we answer your cards, letters and e-mails, wrapping things up with a tune by Eels, who have just given a concert in Madrid.  Then we hear the music of three further internationally known groups or artists who have performed in Madrid this month--the American pop-rock band Chicago, which got together back in 1967 and is still making music; guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani, the teacher of Steve Vai and many other prominent rock guitarists; and Anoushka Shankar, the sitar-playing daughter of Ravi Shankar and half-sister of Norah Jones.
