English language broadcast - 15/01/15

 Today's program features a report on Spain's rent control, which until this month, has allowed many historic small shops and cafes to remain in business. Now, however, with their rentals at the mercy of the market, many of these stores and restaurants which have helped to create the charm and character of Spanish cities must close.  Multinational chains and franchises will likely replace them, as only the largest global businesses can pay the new rents.  We also report on a satirical skit broadcast on internet television that has prompted one group to file suit against its creator.
