English language broadcast - 08/10/14

 After the news and the announcement about the end of Radio Exterior's shortwaves broadcasts (October 15th), we welcome to our studios Judith Mateo, a classically-trained Spanish violinist who has just released her fifth album, "Celebration Days," made up of versions of classic rock hits like "Sympathy for the Devil" (The Rollings Stones) and "Highway to Hell" (AC/DC).  Then Nicolas Jackson visits the 9th edition of Hay Festival Segovia, Spain's annual literary festivall, where he talks to Chris Patten, the last governor of Hong Kong, and now Chancellor of the University of Oxford and head of the Vatican's communications and media team.
