English Language Broadcast - 04/04/16

In this Easter-weekend program, we play an extraordinary recording of St John's Passion, by J. S. Bach, as performed by the Collegium Vocale Gent, conducted by Philippe Herreweghe.  The Belgian conductor and his group were in Spain on tour with this piece and spoke with our colleague Cristina Moreno at Radio Clásica. We include Maestro Herreweghe's comments along with some background on this lesser known Bach Passion.
